Messes. Memories. Masterpieces.

Happy Monday, dear friends!

Let’s start the week off right with Monday’s Messes, Memories and Masterpieces. It’s a way for us to connect and share, even though we may be many miles apart. Each week we will celebrate, support and encourage one another though all life throws at us.

Every once in a while, I will do a give-away to make it fun! This week your name will be entered into a drawing for a small gift when you leave a comment (either on the blog or on Facebook with your own Mess, Memory or Masterpiece), share the Facebook link or subscribe to my blog. So, you could triple your chances for winning by doing all three!

Messes could be a pinterest fail, a mess you or someone you know actually made, or some problem you are having. How can we pray for you?

Memories are things you want to remember and share with others - it could be messy or marvelous. Maybe you are remembering a loved one or some story from your child hood came to mind this week.

Masterpieces are your victories. It could be a crafty project that turned out well (pictures, please) or some other exciting event. What do you want us to celebrate with you?

Together we can make Monday Marvelous by sharing our Messes, Memories and Masterpieces.

OK, I’ll go first! But I can’t win the prize, so you have to chime in with your own comment! My mess for last week was about 17 failed attempts at new methods for photo transfers to wood for a workshop I’m hosting on Thursday…. Sanded wood, crumpled parchment paper, inked up wax paper, soggy printer paper shreds on two tables in my house….A real MESS!

Memory…yesterday I pulled out our scrapbook from Lisbon, Portugal. We took a trip there when Ryan was 18 months old. It was his first trip to the ocean. I have a great picture of him running away from the waves screaming and crying! He was petrified! I showed him the pictures and we had a good laugh because now, at 10.5, he is a great swimmer and has no fear…we enjoyed sharing this memory but it made me sad at how fast they grow and how little time I have to make pretty scrapbook pages!

That’s so awesome! I always get a little dramatic about when I think about our scrapbooks… You may have inspired me to get back to it, Anne!

This is such a great idea and I can’t wait to see everyone’s stories! I took pictures of my son this week in the bluebonnets and was able to come up with some really pretty pics using a photo editor program, which I’ve always been a little intimidated by

As I lay here snuggling a sick baby I know my greatest masterpieces are my two boys! I’m so blessed God saw us through Graeme’s birth and now I can lay here sleep deprived cuddling and loving this little miracle. One day I’ll get around to scrap booking all his firsts!
